OBJECTIVE

I am looking for a position as a Civil Surveyor, computer drafter-designer,

or layout person for a Civil engineering, surveying or construction company

to advance in the field of Civil Engineering, and construction.

WORK HISTORY

Computer Drafter-Supervisor - 3/2011 to present

Exacta Land Surveying Cleveland, Ohio

I draft Survey Plats, metes and bounds, sectionals, ALTA's, ATA's, boundary

and mortgage surveys, showing easements, improvements, etc., sometimes

reviewing title commitments and schedule "A" and "B" & related documents.

I take survey crew sketches and data collector points, move and rotate to

establish boundaries and calculate missing property corners and drafting

improvements.

I also supervise and train second shift employees, which includes checking

their work before sending the drawings to the professional licensed

surveyor, for final review, assigning jobs to the work queues, assisting in

any questions or problems that might arise.

This company employs surveyors from Florida, Texas, Virginia, Maryland,

Illinois, and Ohio to perform the surveys that I receive to draft.

Quantity Technician - 4/2008 -4/2009

Perk Co. Cleveland, Ohio

I field measure quantities for bid items for construction projects. Then I

calculated square yards and cubic yards using AutoCAD's Autodesk

lot program. And then inputting information into Excels spreadsheets, and

quantity and daily reports.

Civil Surveyor Crew Chief-Computer Drafter-11/2006 to 4/2008

Dempsey Surveying Co. Lakewood, Ohio

Performed construction staking, property surveys, ALTA's, and Topographic

surveys, using robotic transits and GPS TDS Ranger Data collectors which

contained traverse, and Roading software .Uploading and downloading with

editing files from Data collectors. I also did field setup for construction

staking using AutoCAD 2004 with Eagle Point, and calculating cut sheets for

sewer, waterline, and pavement staking.

As crew leader, I performed construction staking (layout for waterlines,

sewers, paving, buildings and houses), property surveys, ALTA's, and

Topographic surveys. Very proficient on TDS Ranger Data collectors along

with Trimble and Topcon GPS Data collectors with Cogo, Traverse, and

Roading software.

Used Nikkon Data Collectors and Sokkia's SDR33 Data Collectors installed

with Cogo, Traverse, and Roading software.
