outfall into the main channel of the river. Project crossed a National
Wildlife Refuge and had to be done without any turbidity in the water due
to the presence of an endangered species. Prepared an EIS for the following
agencies: U.S. Corps of Engineers, U.S Fish and Wildlife, U.S
Environmental Protection Agency, State of Illinois Environmental Protection
Agency, State of Iowa Department of Natural Resources. The cause of the
concern was that the project crossed a recreational water resource, and a
National Wildlife refuge.
Disposed of Hazardous Waste and maintain records according to USEPA
regulations.
Prepared budget and capital expenditure requests and managed multi-million
dollar budget.
Developed training and trained plant personnel in environmental regulations

. Participated in turbine repairs, high and low voltage line repairs at
the hydroelectric plant and island wide.
. Participated in the running and repair of the coal fired power plant.
Oversaw type of coal ordered. Coal ran on a hydraulic belt to the
hoppers.
. Participated in the repair of a bridge that could swing 360 degrees.
Replaced a large gear, previous manufacturer was no longer in business
and took broken gear to Kingston Manufacturing Center, located on the
Arsenal, and had new gear made. Kingston Manufacturing Center is the
largest facility of its type and can manufacture anything from tools
chests filled with tools, to large and small gears, to howitzers. It
has chrome plating process, and many other processes.
