To whom it may concern,
Please accept this resume for consideration for any available operations related position
you may be working to fill.
I have extensive experience in manufacturing and have held functional managerial
positions in engineering, quality, operations, maintenance, lean process engineering,
and product design. You will note in my resume significant accomplishments during
each experience, and a continual growth in my career. These opportunities have
allowed me experience in a variety of industries including wire & cable, industrial, truck,
automotive, medical, defense, aerospace, and machine tool.
I would like to highlight 3 specific examples that happened while I was working for Barry
Controls. Over the course of 7 months I rebuilt the Quality Management System to
cover two industrial standards (AS9100 & TS16949) covering multiple facilities and
passed both audits with zero findings. While I was leading the lean implementation I
was able to lead the team to reduce the changeover time of a key growth product from 8
hrs. to less than 30 minutes. The reduction in manufacturing time increased our market
share by 300%. I was responsible to lead the team to development of a culture focused
on safety. Over a 14 month period of time we were able to take the business to zero lost
time accidents, and actually began to focus exclusively on near misses.
I look forward to the opportunity to meet yourself and your team to further discuss any
current opportunities and how I may fit into the team to help the company continue its
success and growth.
Regards,
Jean-Pierre Bouchard
