Objective

My objective is to obtain a position where I can utilize my management

skills, writing skills, and allows me to make a positive contribution to

the organization with potential for growth.

Leon's Furniture, Electronics/Appliance Salesperson February 2013-

Present

Responsibilities include processing bills, commission sales, processing

financing, product knowledge, daily targets, and customer service.

Head of Health and Safety Committee, which includes planning meetings,

monthly inspections, scheduling, and processing paperwork.

Head of Social Committee, which includes planning the annual holiday party,

company volunteer hours, and in store activities.

Leon's Furniture, Front Office Supervisor February 2011- Feb 2013

Responsibilities included processing bills, data entry, customer service

and correspondence, opening/closing procedures, issuing gift certificates,

managing front office staff, and training new associates. Also assisted in

duty manager roles, filling in the finance department, interviewing new

employee training.

Initiated the monthly paper. Responsibilities included writing and editing

My hobbies and interests include reading, attending book signings, speaking

with and interviewing authors and writing my own novels and short stories.

I enjoy going to see live bands, interviewing and writing Q &A's with

bands, and listening to music. I also enjoy photography, cross stitch,

traveling and blogging.
