to help clients develop interpersonal and social skills.
Three years as a Victims Advocate, Court Advocate and Sexual Assault Coordinator.
Assisted clients with writing domestic violence restraining orders.
Presented restraining orders to a judge, attended court and supported victims of
domestic violence during court hearings.
Volunteer and Coordinator in Sexual Assault cases. Assisted Sexual Assault Nurse
Examiners in hospital when called upon. Offered the victims support, compassion, and
information on the shelter’s services.

It is my aspiration to continue working in an Educational or Human Service related field.
Qualifications
Create statistical reports using Excel spreadsheets and monthly reports. Trained staff in
the use of the Osnium Database, which collects information on domestic violence, sexual
assault, displaced homemakers and their children.
Case Management.
Conducted weekly domestic violence group sessions for women and preteens and also
conducted presentations on domestic violence and sexual assault.
Taught displaced homemakers computer use, job search and ways to improve their lives.
Worked in the field of education for twelve years; two of those years were spent working
with BED (Behavioral Emotional Disturbed) children in a self-contained classroom.
Mentored clients of all ages with emotional and mental disorders; provided service notes,
guidance, motivation, encouragement, and assisted individuals in developing a positive
self-image; focused on anger management issues with teens; assisted in developing
