Duties: Administered and managed this service that maintained a data base housing registry and linked a diverse base

of clients seeking residential services, ensured a comprehensive referral base through on going communication and

networking with the community based agencies i.e. shelters, hospitals, family services, utilized a detail knowledge of

the Tenant Protection Act, developed and maintained operating budget, conducted meetings with the Board of

investigation departments of the Dartmouth police with information regarding investigations and drug busts, liaise

community crime prevention programs (P.A.C.E. now known as D.A.R.E., Block Parents, Neighbourhood Watch,

schedule and that participation was achieved, chaired the steering committee that coordinated the development of this

service, effectively assisted agencies/police departments with issues such as truancy, woman abuse, theft, prostitution,

facilitated forums on policing, housing and homelessness related issues, reinitiated Operation GO HOME for youth in

conjunction with other social and transportation agencies, assisted in restoring positive rave relations through

community forums and one-on-one interaction, developed and maintained annual operating budget
