Tristan Ognibene
To whom it may concern,
I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself for the position you have advertised. My
name is Tristan Ognibene and I am a Queen’s University Engineering student looking for summer
employment. I believe that I can be a great addition to your company.
Some of the skills I have that make me a good candidate for this summer job are: intelligence,
hard-worker, a fast learner, ambitious and I have great people skills. All of these skills are needed on the
job site to be a stellar employee. These skills were developed in my two previous jobs and through
university. At Extreme Pita, my ability to multi-task, work hard, and serve every customer with respect
earned me the respect of my manager, my co-workers, and the customers I was serving.
I believe that my skills, experiences and hobbies allow me to be a good candidate for this
position. All of my skills, outlined above, were developed through my experiences, both on a worksite
and through everyday experiences. Over my three years at Extreme Pita, I was efficient and responsible, I
worked with multiple customers at once and handled the entire customer process, from greeting to cash
out and from opening a store to closing a store. Being a master scuba diving and playing rep soccer for
over 10 years developed my leadership and teamwork skills. My passion to be physically fit and athletic
also matches the requirements needed for this position. I believe that with these skills, I can make a great
addition to your team.
I would like to thank you for giving your time to read my resume. Please, don’t hesitate at all to
contact me, my contact information is in my resume attached. I look forward to speaking with you,
whether on the phone or in person.
Sincerely,
Tristan Ognibene
