Peer Advocate

C2C Program)

Peer Advocates are paired with faculty in developmental education math and English courses to develop

and implement service learning/civic engagement activities for the course. This position is tied to the

Connect2Complete (C2C) grant. In addition to the required qualifications, peer advocates must also maintain

satisfactory academic progress while adhering to college's confidentiality policy. Peer Advocate maintains

weekly meeting with program manager, demonstrate effective leadership skills, strong communication skills,

must be comfortable delivering short presentations, possess the ability to host class projects and events,

participate in leadership programs, attend student success workshops, and other duties as assigned.
