To Whom It May Concern
Re: Don Williams
I became Don William's manager in 2003. Don was already performing pricing
analysis when I came into the department. Don is very knowledgeable of
personal computers and very proficient in their use. I still use some, what
I consider, highly complicated spreadsheets that Don had prepared for my
use. They help to make my job a lot easier.
A part of Don's duties in pricing included working with Sales on pricing
issues. Don was respected by the sales field even though many times the
issue was our request to raise the price to our customer. He was very good
at presenting an analysis of why the price needed to be increased. In many
cases there were things that could be done to negate the increase and Don
would take the time to explain that also.
Don is no longer working for me because of a company initiative to reduce
the number of employees. It was unfortunate for Don and I can only say that
I would re-hire Don if that opportunity ever presented itself.
