Project Manager
6 Degrees is a horticulture export company. Headquartered in Amsterdam, the company opened a peony flower division, based in New Zealand with exports to the United States. My role within 6 degrees was to define and support the establishment of their operations in the Netherlands, New Zealand, and the United States. I worked directly with the president to contribute to the business development and operations of the company. My duties included:
• Created a feasibility plan that encompassed - Determining projected return and growth in the upcoming years and establishing target markets for specific types of peonies. The plan also included a competitive analysis, a cost analysis, land purchase and leasing comparisons, projecting machinery, labor, and other necessary relevant consultation
• Worked on the down stream area of the business such as, product design for the packaging, negotiating contracts, and finding suitable distribution methods
• Collaborated with buyers, farmers and consultants to decide which peonies will allow us the best ROI and in which markets, i.e. U.S., Asia, while acknowledging harvest seasons to that of market value where the product is sold

Eworks - Austin, Texas January 2006 – October 2008
Regional Director
Eworks is a Market Research company responsible for collecting public opinion for Trailers and Adverts; headquartered in Laguna Beach, CA. Eworks operates in over 21 cities across America and Europe. My initial function began as a project manager. I moved up throughout the years to become the company’s Regional Director for the East Coast, South and Southwest Regions.
• Cut costs within the South and East region by $20,000 a month while maintaining leveled operations
• Reported directly to the CEO and President concerning daily operations, production, and management
• Opened three successful new markets; Miami, Orlando, and Philadelphia
• Managed all operations in 12 cities, (including New York, Phoenix, Dallas, Miami, and Atlanta) for over 320 employees, while maintaining close relationships with our theater and mall clients

City Planning and Development
• Worked with the mayor to review the budget of the city’s revenue and expenses for 1998, calculating which city service had losses or gains. Upon the review with guidance from the city council we established a plan that resulted in greater revenue for the city
• Introduced a public garbage campaign that was followed by the first public trash bins
• Administered an out reach campaign so local communities were able to apply for municipality and national government aid without going through administrative red tape
• Worked with USAID to raise funds for local elementary schools
• Successfully lobbied to relocate the main bus terminal from the central park to the new market ultimately loosening car traffic within the city therefore providing local businesses with an increase in foot traffic
