Responsibilities
My responsibilities were different everyday. Some days I was contracted out to companies and some days I
worked on various jobs throughout the day. I did fire, water, smoke damage restoration, carpet cleaning, carpet
removal, painting, plumbing, tree removal, drywall, flooring, insulation, and picked up/delivered supplies from
various businesses in the Harrisburg/Lemoyne area.
Accomplishments
I learned a lot about various trades and was able to apply my previous knowledge to the jobs when necessary.
I proved to be reliable, as I was sent to do jobs by myself, and was available to my boss whenever he needed
my help.
Skills Used
Learned how to successfully use industrial carpet cleaning machines, as well as improve with hanging drywall,
painting. Learned various ways of removing flooring, baseboard, carpet, and how to demo areas with water,
fire, and smoke damage
Fabricator
Quality Counts Welding - Kimberton, PA - June 2013 to November 2013
Responsibilities
Ground out broken welds in both steel and aluminum, patched any holes(aluminum forms only), cut and
prepared sheet metal, steel pipe, and aluminum for welding.
Accomplishments
Learned a lot about the welding trade, improved my skills working with metal, added a good work ethic to
the company
Skills Used
Used die grinders to remove broken welds in aluminum, cut sheet metal and pipe, organized the shop and
its inventory. I'm a punctual, hard working individual raised with a good work ethic, am teachable and willing
to learn anything about any trade
Plumbing Apprentice

Responsibilities
New construction: Ground up installation (from underground tie ins to rough in/installation), PVC/CPVC,
Copper tie ins/water lines (pro press and solder), PEX pipe systems, heated floors, steel gas line installs/
threading, hot water heater installs, line insulation
Residential: Hot water heater install/removals/repair (element, temp control, etc.), broken line repair, bathroom/
shower fixture install/removal/repair, clearing clogged drain lines, boiler install/repair, steel gas line install/
repair/threading
Accomplishments
I started as a helper, worked hard and learned a lot about the trade from my bosses and co-workers. I got to
a level where I had my own truck, tools, and was trusted to do smaller residential jobs by myself.
Skills Used
I learned how to run copper lines using both solder and Pro Press, snake drain lines, install and repair bathroom
fixtures, get proper supplies from supply house (both proper type and amount) for current and future jobs, run
PVC lines with proper downhill slope, diagnose and solve problems on a day to day basis, positive interaction
with bosses/co-workers/job foreman/workers from other trades who were working along side us, desire to learn
more about all aspects of the trade, ask for help if I was unsure about anything, and to remain teachable
