2008-2012 Projects:
Metro Orange Line Extension, Canoga Park, CA & Chatsworth, CA, $83M
This project designs and constructs 4.5 miles of dedicated bus way
adjacent to Canoga Avenue, from the Metro Canoga Station to the
Metrolink Chatsworth Station in the San Fernando Valley. The
extension also includes construction of 3 bridges, 5 new stations,
utility relocations, intersection improvements, a bikeway and
pedestrian path, park-and-ride lots, and extensive landscaping.
Electrical work includes design and installation of power and
lightning, communications, traffic signals, TVM, CCTV, PA, VMS, CTS,
tie-in to LA Department of Transportation, (LA DOT) ATSAC fiber optic
cable, and expansion of an existing bus operations control center.
Lead Safety Representative: Develops and implements Illness & Injury

SCRRA Eastern Maintenance Facility, Colton, CA, Project Value
$70Million
Facilities constructed include a four track storage yard with
capacity for 4 six-coach trainsets, two Service and Inspection (S&I)
tracks, fueling and sanding service set up for the S&I, a 240 foot
long Train Washer, a 5,150 SF Transportation Building containing
offices and mechanical staff welfare areas, grading, drainage,
paving, utilities, bridge construction, and other site work.
Engineering, procurement and construction of $10Million of facility
systems including the train wash system, sand bridge and distribution
equipment, inspection platforms, fuel system and industrial waste
system.

Supervised field safety compliance for Pinner Construction and Tilden
Coil employees and their subcontractors during construction of 3 new
elementary schools and 1 new high school for LAUSD. I performed safety
inspections, documented preventative measures and compliance efforts,
safety violations and corrective actions. Completed accident and
incident reporting and investigations. Led weekly safety meetings with
subcontractors in accordance with OSHA requirements. Trained workers
on traffic control, confined space and hazardous waste operations.
Completed monthly reporting to Owner and attended weekly coordination
meetings. Working for RMP Safety Services, managed field
safety compliance for clients including Tilden Coil Construction and
Cox Construction, performing hangar construction at March Air Force
Base. Conducted safety program orientation for all new hires. Led
weekly safety meetings and completed daily reports. Met with
railroad's Employee-in-Charge (EIC) for daily job briefing and OnTrack
