My job is to assess individuals on public assistance for employment

placement. I meet with and assign unemployed individuals receiving public

assistance to a job program geared towards assisting them in acquiring

skills in order to increase their chance of becoming gainfully employed

long term.

Oriana House Inc.

October 2008 - September 2013

During my employment at Oriana House I held multiple titles from Resident

Supervisor, which is comparable to a correctional officer, in which I

supervised the daily activities of up to 150 inmates at a time. I then

moved in to an Administrative Assistant position assisting Case Managers

and Administrators in daily duties. For the past 2 and half years of my

employment I served as a Case Manager for 30-45 inmates at a time in a

residential community correctional facility. I dealt with every aspect of

their incarceration from drug testing / drug treatment to assessing them

for cognitive behavioral / employment programs in order to decrease the

chance of them recidivating and increase the chance of a successful

integration back into society.

Summit County Adult Probation August 2006 - December

2006 (intern)

Served under the supervision of Probation Supervisor Laurie Fisher and

performed or assisted in all duties assigned to an officer of the court.

Assisted on field calls to probationers homes as well as learned the SCORS

system data base which tracks all information of individuals while under

supervision

2003 - 2008

Throughout college I worked as a waiter / bartender attending to the guests

needs for the duration of their evening. During this time I also served as

a shift leader for Macaroni Grill, which is considered a step down from

management.
