. Gained knowledge about the composite materials and their treatment
necessary for an ALH (Advanced Light Helicopter) and LCA (Light Combat
Aircraft), apart from these projects, CFRP components and heat pipe
components for ISRO and ISAC, Pay load fairings for GSLV MK-II, heat
shield for Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre (VSSC)

the quality checking of the produced parts
. X- Ray Radiography, CT- SCAN (Computed tomography), ultrasonic
examination processes and CT scan etc.
. Observed the assembling of the aero engine components
National Thermal Power Corporation Limited (NTPC), Dadri
June 2013 - July 2013
. Gained exposure about working on Boiler and Turbine machines.
. Successfully completed special training regarding power plants and
Mechanical jobs.
Domain of Interest
. Corrosion of stainless steel
. Material engineering.
. Theory of machine
. Physical metallurgy
. Heat treatment of steels
Projects/Seminars during Post-Graduate
Major Project:1. Passivation behavior of high nitrogen and high manganese
Austenitic Stainless Steel in 3.5 wt% NaCl.
Corrosion resistance of three kind of stainless steels type AISI 304,
AISI316 and HNSS was studied in solutions of 3.5 wt% NaCl by
Electrochemical polarization and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy
method. Type 304 and 316 stainless steel were also included for comparison
purpose,
The study involves,
. EIS Study and Electrochemical polarization Study
. Material characterization: Structural (XRD), Morphology
(SEM/optical microstructure)
. Analysis of composition of passivasion layers.
2.Stress cracking corrosion and carrion behavior of magnesium alloy (AZ91D)
in chloride solution by constant load testing machine and electrochemical
impedance spectroscopy method.
Seminar Presented: Electrochemical Behavior of Mo-Alloy Steel in Sulphate
Solution.
. Presented the mechanism of Molybdenum alloying elements in stainless
steels and its beneficial effect on corrosion resistance. Mo enhances the
resistance to pitting corrosion and expands the passive region in
sulphuric acid The formation of a molybdenum-rich oxide stable film in
the active region of stainless steels in 30 wt. % H2SO4 medium, can act
as an effective barrier against the diffusion of species through the film
and, therefore, decrease the dissolution rate.
Projects/Seminars during Under-Graduate
Major Project: Analysis of Solenoid Electric Engine.
. We design our project as 4 stroke solenoid engine. This works on
principle of solenoid coil for distribution different four stroke power.
We used simple technique, we use metal sheet and cut it in circular form
then we divide that circle in to 4 different portions and paste on wooden
circular piece. We make one hole in centre of that wooden piece and
insert one dc gear motor in it. We provide ac current to the motor shaft
with help of insulator and attach one iron foil with that shaft this foil
is connected with on the other side.
Seminar Presented: Fuel Injection System.
Machines/Equipments Handled
. CNC and Lathe machine.
. Hydraulic pellet press
. Optical microscope
Skill Sets
. Packages: Origin Pro 8, AutoCAD, Pro-Engineer
. X'Pert High Score Plus, various corrosion & impedance software
. Adept at Microsoft Word,Excel,Microsoft PowerPoint, Basic computer &
Microsoft Office
Academic Achievements and scholarships
. Qualified in Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering*(GATE) examination in
2011, 2012 & 2014.
. Received monthly scholarship between 2012 to 2014 from the Ministry of
Human Resource Development, Government of India
*common entrance examination which is conducted by IIT's and IISc for
Post-Graduation and PhD admissions
Extra-curricular Activities
. Represented the college Kho-Kho team in the U.P. Board competition at
under school level.
. Played an important role in Technical Fest in college.
