As the Automations Team Manager:

• Responsible for day-to-day management and continued development of a new team and its

processes. Under my supervision, the team has created reusable template documentation for

assessing and driving automation within various teams of the bank. I have created a new deck

and intake form with my team to present to the various PRBs to generate more awareness of our

team’s capabilities. We have also begun a best practices library as well as a reusable automation

test script library in QC/QTP. To date, we have generated a total cost savings to the company of

over $350K by automation of manual test scripts. This is 3 times the total saved from the previous

year’s numbers.

• Serve as a Strategic Planner and manager of automation efforts within the team’s sphere of

influence. Work closely with the LOBs and our Automation Manager to determine business

requirements and high-level management efforts needed for automation initiatives within the TEM

group.

• Serve as the backup for the Sr. TS Group VP for escalations and environmental decisions.

As the Test Environments Manager:

• Host daily environments meeting to address questions, issues and concerns about the test and

production environments. Work with internal and external business units to communicate

notifications and updates.

• Share ownership of the Environments Management Portal, a reporting and test tracking tool,

with the VP; Track environments collisions as well as prepare and present weekly PRB reports for

Sr. Management.

• Co-creator and manager of the controlled entry process for the environments. In lieu of an

official release management process, this pseudo-Release Management process is designed to

give transparency to all projects entering the PAT environment during a project release window.

Since its inception, over a half dozen new initiatives have used the process, resulting in over 400

reviewed and approved requests and significant reductions of break-fix and production issues.

Warrantee periods for new initiatives require shorter windows and projects are experiencing

quicker turnaround times in the environments largely due to the success of this process.

• Owner of the TEM group’s SharePoint and Connections social media sites; Responsible for the

design, implementation and maintenance of these tools as well as the day-to-day content

updates.

Engaged by BarclayCardUS initially to head up their Web Development department, then

transferred to the Release Management department during reorganization of the Business

Technology Group.

As the Director, Technology - Release Management/SDLC Documentation Auditor (11/2008

– 01/2010):

• Served as the gatekeeper of technology releases into the production environment. Monitor

Quality Center ticket progress and assess risks to affected releases. Organize key players to

communicate and mitigate risks as necessary.

• Collaborated with a diverse team of professionals (project managers, software developers,

infrastructure teams, QA, Operations and other teams as needed) to generate a coordinated

process for scheduling and releasing software from inception to production release.

• Worked with release team and other department SMEs to streamline processes to achieve

excellence in release quality.

• Was responsible for authoring and presenting technical material, such as implementation plans,

training manuals and other such documents clearly and concisely. Also evaluate and enhance

existing documentation to more clearly illustrate the release process.

• Enforced adherence to technology code freezes and testing processes to minimize release risk.

• Produced weekly and monthly metrics to evaluate release performance and to conduct root

cause analysis on problem areas to improve future release quality.

• Also was solely responsible for the Business Technology Group’s SDLC documentation audit

organizational abilities, a system was developed to track and account for missing artifacts and a

process was created to bring all technology areas into 100% compliance before first quarter UK

As the Director, Technology - Web Development (11/2007 - 11/2008):

• Managed a team of ten UI Designer/Developers in both local and remote locations.

• Managed multiple development initiatives, working closely with customer, marketing, segment

and business teams to deliver both new partner credit card website launches as well as new

campaign products for existing partners.

• Partnered with Sr. Leadership in the strategic vision of BarclayCardUS solutions delivery

initiatives for existing partners and helped create new directions for improvement for engaging

new partners.

• Under my leadership as web development manager, utilizing my strong coordination and

organizational abilities, the team successfully developed and launched over a dozen new

partners, including the company’s largest partner, L.L.Bean, which has since generated over 1.2

million new accounts for BarclayCardUS. This is significant as this partner was launched with an

all-new code base, on a new environment and under strict SLAs for delivery. It was delivered on-

time and error-free; one of the company’s most successful launches in its nine year history.

• Proactively assumed ownership of tasks and met weekly with diverse team of professionals

(segment managers, product vendors, business managers, marketing, operations and

development teams) in various business areas to discuss design requirements and timelines for

partner and campaign launches, as well as maintenance of existing campaigns.

• Produced daily and weekly metrics to track development progress and to alert stakeholders of

any known risks to timelines. Coordinated mitigation of discovered risks with business and

technology leads as appropriate.

• Conducted frequent code reviews of team projects to ensure quality of developer efforts

(software) support, and SLA compliance and reporting. Also act as the primary liaison within the

Responsible for risk and escalation management of critical systems integration with regards to

Engaged by JPMorgan Chase to conduct usability analysis, quality assurance and project

management to ensure “best in class” user experience for customer facing and internal user

website interfaces.

Liaison between business partners and technology personnel to gather business requirements,

create functional specifications and user documentation as well as overseeing SLA compliance of

each responsible group participating in the program.

Management of website development process using full project life cycle methodologies.

Content management for website was achieved through Documentum.

Developed well over 300 wire frames for Consumer and Small Business division of JP Morgan

Engaged to participate in a $10 billion contracting program for the Department of Defense (DoD).

Responsibility entailed the development of a GUI/Database application that enabled various

defense department divisions (Army, Navy, CIA etc.) to access a list of government-approved

contractors along with information including salary, expertise and contract history. This application

further enabled users to link to contractors for engagement terms, approval and deployment.

Managed the development and testing of program to ensure compliance with user requirements

and accurate functionality. Original program was developed in HTML, then ported over to ASP

utilizing SQL Server as the primary database.

Served as the business liaison between the East Coast DoD divisions in meetings with West

Coast divisions to communicate status, develop strategies and coordinate testing initiatives.
