which includes 3 manufacturing sites and 2 warehouse facilities

. Worked as Sr. Consultant for Safeway Foods in the development a new

logistical reporting and measurement system for 3 distribution

centers. Worked in all stages development, training and

implementation.

Logistic Consultant - Russell A Farrow Ltd. July 2004 -

June 06

Russell A Farrow is a privately owned international customs

brokerage firm operating with offices in all major Canadian and

U.S. points of entry. Their brokerage operation was expanded in

the early 90's to include transportation, warehousing and

specialized services for their customers. Since their inception

in the Canadian market they have expanded operations with the

expansion of services into the U.S. brokerage and logistics

field.

Responsibilities

. As a consultant I was hired to do a feasibility study on the expansion

of transportation and warehousing services within the Greater Toronto

Area and prepare a business plan along with the appropriate cost

analysis and budget to cover

Director of Operations - C.A.T. Logistics Inc. / Pival International

1997 - 2004

C.A.T. Logistics Inc. is a transportation / warehouse 3 PL

provider (3rd party logistics), who's primary business is to

provide logistics requirements for their customers, In this case

transportation and warehousing of tires for various tire

companies. In late 2003 the warehousing portion of the company

was taken over by Pival International. Although they remain

under the CAT Holding group they are a separately owned entity.

Responsibilities

. Management of $4 million dollar operating budget

. Start - ups, operations and overall logistics of (4) QS9000 / ISO

qualified distribution centers

. Responsible for staffing and management of 4 managers, eight

supervisors and 75 hourly rated laborers.

. Responsible for new projects and the development of operations within

the division

Significant Achievements

. Major contributor to start up of first ever combined tire supplier

distributor for major OEM (original equipment manufacturer)

. Project leader for start up of 750,000 sq. ft. distribution center,

including staffing, training and operational procedures

. Designed and implemented procedure manuals for all distribution center

operations

. Designed and implemented a new in-house inventory and productivity

management system

. Conducted and implemented new transportation system for Menasco

Aerospace resulting in an annual savings of $250,000 or 20% reduction

in cost.

National Manager - Traffic Customs Export - Goodyear Canada Inc.

1980 - 1997

Goodyear is an international tire and automotive supplier to

both the original equipment and replacement market. With 3

production plants and 7 distribution centers across Canada,

operated as a separate profit center for the global operations

they contribute mainly in the U.S. / Canada market.

Responsibilities

. Governed a $43M transportation and customs budget annually

. Managed Canadian import / export and domestic product distribution to

and from the various plants, distribution centers and customers

. Knowledge of customs regulations for Canada and the United States

. Managed (2) managers and (7) staff members

. Recovery of duties subject to drawback regulations

. Planned and coordinated training for staff

. Lowered the ocean rate on importation of Natural Rubber resulting in

savings of $350,000 annually

. Implemented new system for importation procedures which resulted in

reduced paper flow and savings of $150,000 annually

. Automated the Import system which reduced documentation requirement

from Revenue Canada and gave the company better reporting system

. Instrumental in filing of duty remission applications for duty relief

which resulted in multi - million dollar savings to the organization

. Reduced staff levels significantly while maintaining departmental

efficiency
