driver recruitment/retention. Day to day responsibilities include contract negotiations for customer

A well established trucking company with more than 1100 trucks nationwide. 20 trucks domiciled in
Calvert City and 25 trucks in Clarksville TN. Key responsibilities included growing revenue, improving
driver retention, and achieving optimal operational performance at both terminals. Responsible for driver
and office staff payroll and corresponding quarterly taxes. Through successful driver retention initiatives
driver turnover declined to 25% and each terminal subsequently achieved a 98% on time delivery rate.
Implementation of a solid customer retention strategy led to increased business, making our terminals the
preferred vendor for our largest customers.

A well established trucking company with more than 1500 trucks nationwide. Responsible for routing,
payroll, scheduling and performance appraisals for 200 trucks and 2 fleet managers. Managed trailer
allocation/rotation and location. Track out of route miles along with drivers scheduled time off. Insure
loads are picked up and delivered per customers request at the highest level of safety.

Night manager for Sikeston, MO terminal
Exceeded company standards for accurate/timely loads. Responsible for getting inbound trucks unloaded,
segregated and shipped out to appropriate cities. Responsible for hiring, termination and performance

United States Navy 1986-1990
Honorable Discharge
Responsible for efficient operations of airport terminal to assure on-time safety inspections,
troubleshooting mechanical failures with aircraft, and maintaining accurate communication in and out of
terminal. Worked for three years as jet mechanic and spent 18 months in flight logistics. Held top secret
clearance to set up missions with the appropriate staff, assuring that pilots and staff had the available
flight hours and down time to complete the scheduled mission. Calculated fuel, transit time, and payload.
