Steel Feather Construction Services (SFCS) was formed in 2011 to fill a
need in the market for qualified, experienced construction experts to act
as Owner's Representative. This need is particularly evident in absentee
owners from out of state or out of the country. The scope of services
provided is inclusive but services can be customized to the owner's needs.
SFCS handle full on site project management from permitting through
construction to certificate of occupancy. This includes general contractor
selection and negotiations, work order evaluations, change order review,
monthly AIA payment applications, construction loan draws, handling of all
local municipality and governing issues. In addition, SFCS is responsible
for full liaison between architect, engineers, design team and ownership.
SFCS has managed and acted as owner's representative for projects ranging
from $75,000 to $17 million.
. Completed a 6,800 square foot custom home in Key Biscayne currently
listed for sale at $17 million.
. Home renovation included a custom kitchen, new flooring, millwork,

Responsible for overseeing the development of custom, high end single
family residences directly on the beach in Miami Beach. Altos Del Mar is a
unique community in a historic district of Miami Beach, Florida. The
project consisted of 12 new custom single family residences consisting in
size from 4,000 square feet to over 9,500 square feet. The homes were
valued at $3,000,000 to $15,000,000. Distinct architectural styles for the
homes included Mediterranean, Contemporary and Tuscan.
. Complete and manage all permitting involving DEP, state regulations
and the City of Miami Beach.
. Attend meetings and obtain approvals from the Historic Preservation
Board for the Altos Del Mar community to demolish four existing
structures on the property. Ensure the demolishing of the properties
was in accordance to the regulations presented by the Historic
Preservation Board.
. Act as corporate liaison between GREC and city and state agencies, as
well as all of the existing homeowners in the community.
. Coordinate with multiple engineering, architectural and design firms
to achieve the timely completion of all new homes in the Altos Del Mar
community.
. Manage all sales and marketing activities.
. Manage all construction activities including working with General
Contractor, overseeing of each home's budget, expenses, bank draws,
change orders, etc.
. Extensive communication with the property owners to ensure the
successful completion of the community.
