Buyer in a manufacturing organization utilizing purchasing and/or planning

software (MRO/MRP/SAP) to support daily production operations.

EXPERIENCE:

2009-Present: Theragenics: Senior production planner and purchasing of

materials. Managing all finished product manufactured formulations to

customers. Improved scrap rates by 25% annual average thru improved flow

of finished products thru the process. Recognized by senior management for

scrap improvement and achieved above average performance reviews.

2006-2008: Spinner Atlanta Production Planner & Buyer - Purchase and Plan

raw material flow thru the manufacturing process. The process consists of

lathes, mills, assembly area, material handling, maintain inventory levels

of raw materials and WIP. Create work orders for machining and assembly,

use INFOR software to manage raw material flow.

2002 - 2003: International Safety Instruments - Senior Production Planner.

Plan and prepare forecast. Prioritize scheduling for manufacturing

facility based on information collected through the evaluation of meetings,

ECO's, available inventory and current production schedules. Schedule all

sub and final assemblies for highly configured mechanical products. Create

work orders for all assemblies. Communicate daily with production,

planning and management regarding shortage issues and/or roadblocks to

meeting production plan. Maintain demand forecast to support MRP and

production plan. Use ERP/MRP software systems. Left ISI due to company re-

organization.

2000 - 2002: L3 Communications Corporation - Senior Production Planner.

Responsibilities include: Use of MRP software for Inventory Management,

Order Management and Sales Support. Plan and schedule quantities to

maintain a level workload on multiple programs. Coordinate with all

departments, management and daily shortage meetings to prevent production

impact. Worked closely with purchasing to expedite purchased parts.

Coordinate configuration control by establishing and maintaining the

effectively of all engineering changes. Left L3 due to limited

opportunities for career advancement.

1996 - 2000: Attachmate Corporation - Senior Production Planner.

Responsible for Distribution/Logistics, MRP, Inventory Management, Order

Management and Sales Support. Planned and scheduled production quantities,

coordinated with all departments to resolve/prevent resource and/or

capacity conflicts and shortages. Attend planning meetings to provide

management feedback on system/process improvements. Worked with SAP and

JD Edwards MRP system for forecasting and to ensure sales order and

fulfillment in order to meet daily/weekly/monthly deadlines. Left

Attachemate due to company downsizing.

1994 - 1996: Command Medical - Held positions as Assembler, Documentation

Control Clerk, and Quality Control Inspector. While at Command, I was

responsible for the inspection of manufacturing products and schematics

ensuring all government and company regulations were adhered too. Left

Command Medical to relocate family to Georgia.

1983 - 1985: Metric Corporation - At Metric I worked as a Scheduler

(Production Operations) and Configuration Control Clerk. While working

closely with engineering, I was responsible for incorporating ECO's in

production and perform stock sweeps of all in-stock and existing parts to

ensure all parts have been revised. Also responsible for releasing new

shop orders ensuring a constant flow through production and to ensure

prompt shipment. Left Metric to move with Family and Husband's military

career.

1978 - 1983: Motorola - During my tenure at Motorola I had the opportunity

to work in various departments. As an Industrial Engineering Analyst, I

coordinated all necessary paperwork (charts, blue prints, building

information, etc.) and maintenance (verify parts on Pedro) to prepare New

Product Release (NPR) for production. My primary responsibility was to

Engineering and Production Support on all new unreleased and existing

products. Left Motorola to move with family to Ft. Walton Beach Florida
