Responsibilities

• Carrying out time calculations of various activities at shop such as welding, machining and rolling.

• Drawing study and preparation of Bill of material for indenting and procurement;

o Extracting required quantity of material from drawings.

o Generating detailed BOQ e.g. structure (channel, angles, beams), plates, pipes, fittings, flanges, instruments, etc.

o Finalizing PR (purchase requisition) & P.O (purchase order)

• Generating progress reports.

• Controlling and monitoring the shop activities, including the two fundamental areas of fabrication shop i.e.

machine shop & fabrication shop.

• Coordination and communications to procurement, store, finance, fabrication shop, welding shop & QC

department about of related project issues.
