My duties included being the first point of contact for all incoming students. This entailed
making the initial contact with the perspective student and administering the proper assessments
to test the students’ cognitive ability. I also received, handled and properly stored confidential
information pertaining to students. As a Senior Admissions Advisor I used my expertise to
advise students on which programs would be the most beneficial to help them reach their
personal and professional career goals. Often I collaborated with the financial aid department to
ensure proper funding for new and returning students and I would also make contact with the
students’ former institutions to personally request student records.

Telecom Solution I provided customer service and sales in a call center environment for the Long
Distance Promotions Team for AT&T by receiving and making calls to executives of companies
who have contracts with AT&T. This was done to ensure accounts were being managed properly
and meeting the qualifications of the business needs. I was in charge of upgrading, consulting
small business customers and regular business customers to unlimited long distance service plans
and rates. I also acted as team lead for the training of new employees.
