I am presently an MSc Public Health student at oxford Brookes University,

Oxford.I am a graduate of Medicine and Surgery from the University of

Calabar, Nigeria.

My work placement and subsequent employment over seven years practical

experience of clinical and community health care delivery, I have over the

years worked under consultants of various fields in medical science. I am

able to give and take instructions and maintain active listening, as well

as during times of pressure. I am detailed and deliver instructions as

directed.

My flexibility and high level of efficiency enabled me to work across

departments, which assisted me acquire excellent organizational and

communication skills. In my previous role as a medical officer, I have had

to man the reception desk on occasions when short staffed. I received

patients and customers as well as hospitsl equipmment suppliers. I made

patients feel welcomed attended to their queries. I responded to queries in

face-to-face and on the telephone.

I developed good administrative and leadership skills, been responsible for

management of day-to-day activities of the private clinic. I was

accountable for the coordination of the work of staffs in the absence of

the Chief medical director.

I am also well-presented and am known for using my initiative. I am able to

work efficiently under pressure, independently and understand the

importance of security in an organization with willingness to learn.

I have excellent interpersonal skills, a good team player. I am an active

and committed participant of a team; respectful and supportive.

My work load is delivered on time, I plan ahead and prioritize my workload

in the order of urgency, important and routine tasks.

I possess good IT skills, and have excellent capability to learn complex

application packages and analyze data using statistic packages. I am

proficient with Microsoft office, good skills to create in word a variety

of documents. I am able to use excel spreadsheet to represent data, as well

as imputing and retrieving, collating and analyzing of data. I have

excellent power point skills and I am able to conduct researches.

I have good communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex

information to individuals and groups; make presentations and respond to

questions in both educational and workplace settings. I have good command

and fluent in English, both spoken and written.
