During the past 10 + years I have been involved in a variety of jobs that
would include the mechanical and electrical integrating of equipment in the
satellite communication industry as well as the owner of a small
landscaping company. I have gained the experience and knowledge that is
required in the hopes to further advance my career as an asset in the
manufacturing/integration field.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
2007 - Present General Dynamics
Independent Contractor to Deputy Project Manager, Operation I
. Responsible for scheduling personnel to ensure timely
completion for all projects contracted at the Duluth
Facility utilizing company work authorization procedures as
well as tracking each project in the company database.
. Ensure each project is accordance with quality control
standards and that the assembly are built per the
appropriate drawings.
. Coordinate with various teams and departments such as
Project Management, Engineering, Quality Assurance,
Material Handlers, and Test Groups to ensure project
completion.
. Participate in daily production status meetings to ensure
that projects will be completed on time and on budget.
. Supervise a staff of eight employees.
. Troubleshoot situations when needed to eliminate potential
project roadblocks. If not cleared in a timely manner these
roadblocks could have adverse affect on delivery schedules,
quality and cost of the project.
. Provide extended field support at numerous military
installations upon the delivery of completed projects,
including SWAN, used by the United States Marine Corps, and
Satcom on the Move (SOTM) used by the Special Forces
Military Community. This was to ensure the product
delivered worked as designed and to provide any support
necessary during the delivery, training and upkeep of any
systems in field use. This would not only include field
expertise but coordination with the appropriate staff at
the home office to clear issues that were affecting the
reliability of the system.
. Involved in the integration of the above mentioned systems
as an integrator and supervisor
. Integrated shelters that held the equipment to operate
large antennas. This would include all the mechanical
racking, AC electrical, cabling, external waveguide racking
integration to connect the shelter to the associated
antenna.

. Responsible for the day to day operations of a landscaping
and grading business.
. Sought out clients and/or projects in order to contract
with them for services.
. Participated in the execution of the contracted service.
. Ensured each project was completed to satisfactory of the
client.
. Maintained the accounting records of the company.
1988 - 1995 Bell South
Outside Plant Technician to Acting Relieving Supervisor
. Supervised a crew of telephone installation/splicing
personnel.
. Responsible for ensuring timely job completion by
coordinating with the engineering and cable placing teams.
. Responsible for ensuring each job was in accordance with
safety and quality control standards and practices.
. Performed duties and services as a crew member in aerial
and buried, as well as, manhole functions.
1978 - 1988 Southwestern Bell
Multiple Management Titles and Outside Plant Cable Repair

. Supervised various work groups consisting of cable repair
technicians, cable splicing technicians, exchange repair
technicians and installation technicians.
. Performed safety and quality reviews to ensure company
policies were adhered to.
. Coordinated with other departments such as engineers, test
center testers, and dispatchers to ensure proper customer
service was provided.
. Completed yearly performance appraisals on managed
personnel.
. Performed duties and services of a manager, as well as, an
expert repair technician while at Southwestern Bell.

. Served as a defensive Fire Control Technician on the B52
Aircraft
. Responsible for maintaining the defensive radar system and
the 20 mm Gatling gun used to defend the aircraft.
. Promoted to in rank to oversee and lead the shift work
group.
