Mailman

Implemented mailing list server for my college mail server to prevent DNS spoofing and unauthorized mails being

delivered to students or faculty.

Technologies used: Linux(Fedora 13),Web Server(Apache 2),SMTP Server(Sendmail),Python 2.7,

Cron Service(For Custom Modifications) using Mailman.

Enigma’11 – IT Quiz

Web portal for organizing online IT QUIZ.

The portal was developed using JSP/Mysql backed.

It was used for organizing the IT quiz for all the students in INFOTSAV’11 our annual techfest.

o

Automatic Keyword Generation for proper indexing of Podcasts/Video Lectures

Software for Speech to text and extracting most relevant keywords using British National Corpus

CMU Sphinx is used with proper acoustic and language model for effective speech to text.

Extracted most used words with the help of British National Corpus b y calculating event

o

likelihood of each word.

Indexed the podcasts/video lectures for enhanced searching ability.

Web Developer (May 2010 – July 2010)

Web application developed on struts framework(MVC) for HPES PVT. LTD.

Purpose of the application is to do flight reservation, check seat availability & flight status for

travellers.

Application was developed using J2EE/ Mysql as backend & css, javascript as frontend.

Training in PHP,MYSQL,AJAX,JQuery with Young Engineers a t IIT Kanpur for 45 days.

o Developed a Portal for Employee Registration using PHP & MYSql.

Attended ethical hacking and information security workshop organized by Kyrion.
