THESIS/DISSERTATION
• Conducted the research on keratinolytic organism as a biopesticide against meloidogyne inognita, a root knot nematode.
Isolated various keratinase producing organisms from chicken feathers and executed experiments to examine the
nematicidal and enzyme activity of keratinase. In vivo and in vitro trials of keratinase were performed against
nematodes.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
CHARUSAT University – P. D. Patel Institute 05/2012 - 08/2012
Research Assistant
• Study included, degradation of chicken feather a poultry waste product by keratinolytic bacteria. Research concluded
that the utilization of these keratin degraders would find biotechnological use in various industrial processes such as,
keratin hydrolysis. It would also aid in disposal of poultry waste.
