WORK EXPERIENCE:
Integration Consultant, Network Installation, Software Instructor,
Integrated Business Systems, Richmond, Virginia. Responsible for
design, installation and training of Accounting, Retail Point-of-Sale
and F&B Point-of-Sale, Inventory Control, Electronic Tee Time
Reservations, Internet Applications, Terminal Services, Interfacing to
multiple 3rd party accounting platforms. IBS Retail Golfshop POS
interfaces with 3rd party Tee Time reservation companies. IBS databases
running on Microsoft Server 2008 and earlier with MSSQL Server and Full
SQL and SQL Express and older versions running Visual FoxPro databases.
Database mining via an Excel add-in to the SQL data cubes. Installation
of all associated peripherals. Installation and configuration on IPad
devices to run the IBS software. Performed client desktop support when
not on the road. QA testing and enhancement specs delivered.

Responsible for designing and installation of nationwide Local Area
Networks to provide solutions for a club's data management needs. Club
Systems Group provides proprietary Accounting, Retail and F&B Point-of-
Sale, Inventory Control. Installations include Microsoft Windows Server
2003, 2000 and NT LANs, Novell File servers series used as well.
Provide solutions for upgrades and strategies for the clubs to stay
current with technology. Designed instructional documentation for end-
users, instruction of proprietary software as well as instruction of
common software including Microsoft Office Suite and orientation of
hardware and software. Food and Beverage Software Instruction. (May
1994 to July 2005)
System Administrator, Henderson & Phillips Insurance, Norfolk,
Virginia. Responsible for maintaining a Wang VS 7380 mini computer,
system configuration, loading Harte Systems Insurance Agency Management
(IAMS) software updates, nightly backups, maintenance of peripherals
and generation and distribution of monthly reports, customize reports
with the Wang VS Report Utility interfacing with Harte IAMS data files.
Implement and coordinate disaster recovery strategies. Duties include
maintenance of telecommunication software, multiplexors, CSU/DSU, and
modems to remote locations (Portsmouth, Richmond and Newport News, VA
and Atlanta, GA) via T1 Link. All maintenance and upgrades of 20
standalone PCs, implemented backup schedules. Served as "in house
suppport" for all other 3rd party software applications. (June 1992 to
April 1994)
Installation Support Representative, Compose Inc., Virginia Beach,
Virginia. Responsible for installation of touchscreen Point-Of-Sale
system for food and beverage applications, retail inventory system.
Software instructor and support representative. Nationwide
installation of Novell Networks and standalone computers, hardware
troubleshooting and cabling specifications and installation of 3rd
party software applications. Product development and custom report
generation from data files via Intelligent Query report writer. Client
