Radically reformed all aspects of the technical documents program including increasing the transparency and

accessibility of file storage protocol and configuration by using continuous improvement methods to collapse the cost

of the technical manuals program by 750% (i.e. $300K to $40K). Eliminated a two year backlog in manual releases

and sped the process up 2000% while increasing quality and usability.

Institutionalized the product safety program globally. Developed hazard assessments (JHA) and risk assessments

(FMEA), found unique solutions to improve the effectiveness of guarding while reducing weight. Managed the CE

Mark and OSHA EHS programs. Authored Field Safety Policy for the business unit globally.

TECHNICAL WRITER

Developed proposal content based on researching engineering blueprints and design records, interviewing engineers,

salespersons, and clients at GE’s Industrial Steam Turbine Application Center. Efforts he lped land more than $150M

in new revenue.

Erased a six month backlog in proposal releases bringing the submission rate to one week ahead of schedule and

pulling in new start dates from four months to less than three weeks. This was done by closing out easy projects first,

arriving early, and staying late thus greatly improving process flow.

Responded to RFQs and RFPs for international oil and petrochemical refineries, paper mil ls, and major universities to

correctly identify hydraulic emergency trip valves, electrically powered turning gears, thermodynamic vapor spray

systems, and other complex industrial equipment.
