activities for all injuries and auto accidents. Assist corporate audit teams during the audit
process. Compile safety statistics to analyze areas of concern. Organize and present daily
safety activities and lectures to the workforce. Serve as a mentor to all new hires.

Major Accomplishments
• Named Wellness Champion in February 2008, which focuses on teaching
employees the importance of living healthy lifestyles such as smoking cessation,
cancer prevention, fitness, stretching, etc.
• Took my hub from last to first in the region by cutting our injuries/accidents by
over 80%.
• Named Best in Class 2009 for outstanding strides in safety by my district

Responsible for all outbound packages tendered to UPS in the ZIP codes that begin with
757 (about 8,000 packages per day). Also responsible for about 40 employees, 75
package cars, and two airplanes. Assisted HR with the hiring and recruiting process.
Specialized in international shipping, overnight service, logistics, and vehicle appearance.
Major Accomplishments
• Achieved an 80% improvement rating by reducing a bloated workforce,
decreasing vital International and Next Day Air time in transit, and driving up
employee productivity.
• Sent on special assignment in Palestine, Texas for nine months, in which the
center was turned from last to first in the UPS Balanced Scorecard elements.
• Achieved a 65% favorable increase during my tenure in the Employee Relations
Survey.
Car Washer/Unloader (July 1999-February 2000)

Washed, fueled, and parked the fleet of vehicles nightly. Assisted with unloading package
cars.
Strategic National Stockpile (2001-2002)
Logistics Expert/Advisor
• Recruited by the Texas Department of State Health Services to advise the SNS in
establishing a local warehouse and logistical aspects in the East Texas area after
the terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001.
• The SNS is the United States’ national plan to combat a national emergency
involving bioterrorism, which could result in a pandemic. The concept is to
supplement the area with antitoxins, antidotes, vaccines, and other critical medical
supplies within 12 hours of bioterrorists attacks. These warehouses are secret and
protected by armed US Marshalls.
