Awarded a $65,000 grant from the Ontario Government and Union Gas for Stepan Canada to

implement a new boiler system, which led to a 4% reduction in total gas consumption. (2010)

Managed an instrumentation & electrical upgrade of Stepan’s sulphonation plant. (2009)

Instituted Stepan Canada computerized preventive maintenance program. (2006)

Assisted with commissioning activities in a $12 Million ethylene oxide reactor. (2001)

Designed and installed a temperature control system to control waste water treatment plant main

temperature. Project returned over $25,000 savings on annual gas energy consumption. (2000)

Managed and commissioned the installation of a 44KV power station. (1999)

Maintenance Manager

• Provide leadership, long term strategy and vision to the Maintenance Department.

• Create strategy and planning for Process Safety Management (PSM), quality of Mechanical Integrity,

mobile equipment, utilities, parts, buildings and grounds.

• Create and promote an environment within the Maintenance group that achieves incident free

• Petrochemical client was Petro Canada (Trafalgar Plant). Wrote specifications for process instruments

and developed instrument requirements. Designed all necessary wiring details and location drawings.

• Potash client was Corona Corp, who was designing a new Boric Acid Extraction Plant. Performed a

Well Head Instrumentation study. Engineering instrumentation loop diagrams and established

specifications for process analyzers that required special performance and critical design.
