1st party support software and 3rd party revenue generation software for VAIO PCs.

• Risk management and mitigation of development and integration projects to ensure that all software is

delivered on time and does not cause stop shipment in factory production.

• Built strategic relationship with Microsoft to support local software development initiatives and Sony

Business Development operations.

• Deployed first VAIO application available in Windows 8 Store, VAIO Care. Managed 3rd party overseas

developer and internal three person team using Scrum, external resources (design, documentation) and

stakeholders using Iterative/Waterfall, and certified application. Deployed app to store and all global images

two weeks before Win8 launch.

• Assisted Anti-Virus vendor in debugging and resolving critical defects that caused Windows 8 crashes.

Deployed fail safe to prevent loss of revenue from ISV and implemented fix in factory without stop to

production saving Sony Electronics approximately $250,000 to half a million dollars.

• Integrated development and test teams in the US & Japan to deploy a global set of tools used for

manufacturing and recovery. Integration reduced development costs and facilitated the transition of

development to 3rd parties, further decreasing costs.

• Deployed a set of APIs that allowed the VAIO Care application to create recovery discs from the recovery

partition. Managed two related projects and cross-functionally managed the VAIO Care project to integrate

schedules, requirements and project charters across all three projects. Innovation eliminated legacy recovery
