Evaluated all manual workstations by holding weekly workstation layout meetings and completing Assembly
Workstation Evaluation (AWE) sheets and Ergonomic Check Sheets
Applied MODAPTS logic to create time studies that were used for line balancing as well as the creation of our Operator
Instruction Sheets (OIS). These sheets were placed at each manual workstation and used to help instruct operators on how to
perform job functions correctly to maintain quality and cycle time
Supported Production Trial Runs (PTR) for machining and engine assembly lines. The purpose of these runs were to:
o Determine any inconsistences between stopwatch cycle times, Human Machine Interface (HMI) cycle times,
and the Factory Information System (FIS) cycle times
o Record and report any machine faults and machine state inconsistencies to aid in diagnosis and repair
o Complete FIS validation to ensure cycle times, machine/gantry states are being reported accurately for use in
production and simulations.
Attended runoffs at multiple suppliers throughout the program. Reviewed machines, robots, tools and/or lift assists
before they were shipped and installed on plant floor. Ensured all assets fell within standard ergonomic guidelines and
were running at or under the designated cycle time.
