The specialty lending/emerging markets team provides timely information, training/coaching, research, and
promotional strategies and tools for specialty loan programs in strategic market segments. Examples of
specialty loan programs include FHA, VA, Rural Development products in addition to Fannie Mae and
Freddie Mac products along with and including community seconds, and individual development accounts
(IDA’s). Examples of strategic market segments include first time home buyers, women-headed households,
various race and ethnic segments, energy conscious consumers, and other demographics such as Gen Y. The
team facilitates partnerships with internal groups such as ban CRA managers, CDC leaders, and external
groups such as non-profits and other referral sources, including Realtors and we provide continuing
education using an annual presentation known as “Roadshow for Realtors.” In Ohio and throughout
Pennsylvania, an average of 900-1000 Realtors attended our presentations for product and program updates
and sales tools and marketing information to assist them in their business.

• Developed purchase sales strategies and implemented sales staff training for 240-250 Loan Officers using
Roadshow, first time homebuyer seminars, and other Realtor information presentations.

headed households, certain races/ethnicities, GEN Y, LMI borrowers, and other local demographics etc.
