Information Technology Specialist (Systems Analyst/Applications Developer)

PROJECT MANAGEMENT

• Plans, directs, and manages the work, establishes long and short range goals, determines the

resources required to accomplish the functions assigned, and oversees a wide range of

assignments covering Production Verification Testing (PVT) for any given service/product tool.

• Ensures that testing engagements are created and conducted in an environment as closely

aligned to the production environment as possible and that deployment and rollback instructions

are completed and verified.

• Oversees all production verification testing functions and activities, ensuring that all

components of a proposed change in production are fully tested and certified, including

developed applications, infrastructure, and COTS applications.

• Manages the preparation of technical specifications, statements of work, task orders, and other

acquisitions related documentation necessary to effectively obtain and administer contractor-

supported automated information system projects.

• Conducts continuous review of Production Verification, System Compatibility, End-to-End,

Regression, and Rollback environments to identify process improvement opportunities and

recommend new technology that can increase customer satisfaction.

• Provides advanced technical leadership in the establishment and administration of PVT

engagements to include instructions for building systems software and environment, production

deployment instructions, establishing and testing infrastructure components, and assuring that

regression and performance testing elements comply with PVT Standards.

• MS Project – Using the project management software program I’ve established a Work

Breakdown Structure (WBS) which is part of the Enterprise Life Cycle (ELC); by

utilizing the WBS I was able to develop, review, control, budgets and monitor project

statuses. I adjusted work plans for project accomplishments for both projects; Affordable

Care Act (ACA) and Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act (FATCA).

• Project Management Staffing & Budget of Projects – Met with senior managers and

executives within (AD) Applications Development domain to define the overall goals and

objectives of the projects (ACA) & (FATCA).

In 2010, I managed the ACA project which was budgeted for $1.2 billion dollars; which

consisted of supervising 15 employees of the On-Line Notice Review (OLNR) section. I
