the Corp of Engineers annual safety award for Mega Projects for 2012.

injuries. This process was developed and put into place in 1991 to
replace workers' compensation. All aspects of injury claims were
managed in-house by me. Since the beginning of the self-administered
program the Company realized an annual cost reduction of over $1.5
million annually.
. Reduced cumulative trauma disorders by 75%. This was accomplished by
applying ergonomic principles to workstation design for factory
personnel and employee education for computer users. Costs were
relatively low and the results very positive.
. Developed and administered all compliance programs including: Blood
Borne Pathogens, Industrial Lift Trucks, Hearing Conservation, Hazard
Communication, Internal Disaster Plan, Lockout/Tagout, Spill Response
