To Whom I t May Concern
My name is Caroline Pike and currently I am seeking my Family Nurse Practitioner
M asters Degree at Clemson University in South Carolina. I am due to graduate May of 2014 and
am seeking employment near Denver, Colorado where I plan to move after graduation.
Currently my background has consisted of four years working on medical-surgical f loor at
S t. Francis Hospital in Greenville, South Carolina. During my four years as a Registered Nurse
and my two years in graduate school, I have learned a great deal about health maintenance,
d isease prevention, patient assessment, and acute and chronic illness t reatment. I have
completed 675 clinical hours and seen over 500 patients in collaboration with physicians and
n urse practitioners in areas such as family practice, obstetrics and gynecology, pediatrics,
gerontology, internal medicine, pain management, gastroenterology, wound care, and ru ral
health. I believe this education and experience will provide me with a solid base as a new Family
N urse Practitioner. I look forward to building lasting relationships with patients and their
families while providing excellent patient care. In order to do this, I f ind i t imperative to work in
collaboration with the physician and utilize team work with all staff.
P lease refer to my website as seen above for additional information regarding my
education and clinical experience. My references are available upon request and feel free to
