consider myself a seasoned General Manger in addition with a background in corporate training. I have over 20
years experience in not only the Restaurant industry but compiled with several years in the Banking industry. I
feel that my skills have never been stronger and I am fully prepared to accept new challenges.
Experience
Fresh Foods Manager at Harris Teeter
April 2013 - Present (1 year 1 month)
Oversee a staff of over 20 employees. Manage a department that includes: a Boars Head exclusive deli
counter, a chef case that contains food prepared by culinary trained chefs, a sub bar, a gourmet cheese
department, a pizza kiosk, a gourmet fresh bread kiosk, a hot bar, and several other specialty items.
Management functions include but certainly not limited to: scheduling, ordering, interviewing, hiring,
orientations, onboarding, training, coaching, counseling, mentoring, inventory, month end reconciling,
customer service, quality control, product awareness, ensuring the highest standards in quality and
cleanliness, and keeping all facets of department within code to achieve high marks for health inspections and
specialty audits performed by a private entity.

General Manager at Caribou Coffee
2010 - April 2013 (3 years)
Full accountability of all coffeehouse functions. Complete PNL accountability While employed at Caribou I
experienced upward mobility in terms of being given assignments in higher volume stores. In 2012 I took
over a store that finished in 2011 over $75,000 in arears and then finished 2012 over $80,000 in the positive,
through increasining traffic and average check dollar amount. I scored second on PNL Benchmark for 2012
out of 10 stores in Charlotte. My tenure was ended due to Caribou closing 7 out of 10 stores in Charlotte and
80 stores Nationwide.
General Manager at Salsarita's Fresh Cantina
April 2005 - January 2010 (4 years 10 months)
Full Restaurant Accountability. While employed with Salsarita's I was accountable for 3 different locations as
a Multi Unit Manager. I trained in excess of of over 50 franchisees. I ran our Flagship store while conducting
my franchisee training. I was a member of our Product and Development Comittee. My last assignment was
as a Managing Partner where I took over the operations of the Ballantyne location during which time I was
able to turn an unprofitable store in to turning a profit again. When the compamy was sold and some stores
were closed I left to accept a better position.

General Manage at Arby's Restaurant Group, Inc.
July 2000 - April 2005 (4 years 10 months)
Full Restaurant Accountability. While employed with Arby's I assited with 4 Grand Openings and the training
in excess of 30 employees and a minimal of either 4 Assistant Managers and or Shift Supervisors per store. In
my last assignment I was able to increase sales in our Belmont location from $700,000 to over $850,000 per
annum, while decresing labor and food cost and increasing customer traffic. I left Arby's to accept a better
position, primarily to step in to a role as a trainer with Salsarita's.
Personal Banker at Repuclic Bank
April 1999 - July 2000 (1 year 4 months)
While employed with Republic Bank my general resoonsabilities included: Account set up and maintenance,.
Types of accounts included; Checking and Savings, Money Markets, Certificates of Deposits, Home Loans,
Home Equity Lines of Credit, Secured and Un-Secured Loans. I arranged and facilitated Sales Presentations.
I left to Re-Locate to Charlotte, NC.
Branch Manager at World Savings and Loan FSB
March 1998 - April 1999 (1 year 2 months)
Branch Manager. While employed with World Savings I completed my Branch Managemet training in 11
months while this curriculum was designed to be an 18 month program. My duties included Full Branch
Operations as well as Account set up and maintenance. Accounts to include: Savings, Checking, Money
Markets and Passport Certificate of Deposit Accounts. I worked in conjuction with William R Hough our
partner that handled our Investment Banking side. I resigned from my position to accept my position with
Republic Bank to further my banking career by switching from a strictly Savings and Loan to a full
Commercial Banking Operation.
