PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
Senior Coordinator, Office of the Executive Director for the Caribbean,
Inter-American Development Bank, Washington D.C., February 1999 to Present
. Providing management support to enable the Caribbean Division of the IDB
to help member states in the development of project proposal and
disbursement and help build a more robust economic and financial analysis
of the issues that are important to the Caribbean through training
programs for government officials at headquarters and in the countries of
the Bahamas, Barbados, Guyana, Jamaica and Trinidad and Tobago.
. Provide translation and simultaneous interpretation into English from
Spanish or vice versa on all legal documentation prepare for Board
meetings and international organizations.
. Reviewed and edited English and Spanish versions of GB documents to
ensure compliance with organizational guidelines and uniformity of
writing style in accordance with agreed standard.
. Prepared document work plans, convocation letters and GB working papers.
. Negotiated deliverables expected with teams to ensure timely production
and circulation of board documents.
. Supported the Executive Director and Alternate Executive Director by
preparing briefing on board document, drafting correspondence including
agendas, briefing notes, talking points and reports.
