Planned, tracked, and reported on the implementation of an $8 million,

multi-state, 6-plant Lean Manufacturing inventory and production

scheduling process involving more than 2K tasks. Led IT and Business

teams in executing new scheduling software and sales forecasting

application. Supervised outside vendors and 15 plant personnel. Trained

field personnel on new systems.

. Saved $35K by completing the implementation phase for the

scheduling software 3 weeks early.

. Finalized plant implementation of Kanban process $350K under

. Overcame the logistical challenges of working with several

geographical locations and many outside vendors to complete project

Developed and executed the plans and budget for a $6 million Data

Warehouse system, including the installation of new hardware and software

from Teradata and the integration of the new and existing applications.

new Cognos reports and interfaces for existing systems.

International consulting firm providing Internet marketing, software

Andbook.com: London-based hotel-booking company backed by Hilton

International.

Took over a $3.5 million Web portal project to develop a European hotel-

booking Web site in 4 languages after the project had fallen behind and

exceeded its budget. Audited project costs to determine best course of

action for completion. Supervised 25 team members in 4 countries.

Negotiated contracts and billing.

. Completion of this project ensured that Leapnet did not lose the

Andbook contract, valued at $2 million.

CathayPacific Airways: Hong Kong's largest airline.

Assumed project responsibilities on a Web portal project to create an

Asian airline-booking Web site in 4 languages after the project had

exceeded its budget. Audited project costs to determine best course of

action for completion, then revised vendor deadlines and costs to refocus

the project. Collaborated with the client sponsor to formulate an in-

house portal system for an executive presentation, including a financial

forecast of productivity gains and an ongoing budget analysis.

. Completion of this project ensured retention of CathayPacific

contract, valued at $1.2 million.

. Secured $500K in additional business by drafting a proposal to

address Web site inventory.

Northern Trust: Global financial institution.

Took over a $1.5 million Web portal project to develop a client facing

investment planning site. Finalized the SOW, managed a 5 member team,

along with 4 team members from the client. Planned new delivery schedule;

saving a month on the final due date.

Pharmacia: Sweden-based pharmaceutical company that merged with Monsanto.

Constructed the prototype for a $2.5 million, 9-language medical

association portal, including plan and scope documents and cost analysis.

Formulated sales forecasts and budgets. Managed a 4-person vendor team.

Lincoln Re: Reinsurance arm of Indiana-based Lincoln National

Corporation.

Planned, managed, and tested a $2.4 million mainframe COBOL dialect

conversion project, which included an update to companywide desktop

applications. Executed hardware and software installation and training on

new desktops.

. Developed a program checkout process to help control version

changes as teams updated the same programs. This process was later

mechanized by the client, saving thousands of dollars in project

costs.

Spearheaded a Y2K date-conversion project for all mainframe computer

operations and identified efficiencies to stay ahead of schedule and
