turbine vanes, transitions, diaphragms, combustion baskets, nozzles, and

support housings. Also, I review and update the Houston product support

center quality processes and procedures using six sigma lean (DMAIC) to

reduce product/process/cycle time I perform purchase order reviews, in

house compliance auditing, root cause analysis, and product failure

. Created and implemented the Houston operation's Grief procedures and

processes for hardware that does not conform to Boeing's Supplier

Quality Engineering specifications. The process coordinates and

integrates with the Supplier Management; Supplier Quality; and the

. Manage incoming Purchase Orders and generate weekly and monthly

performance metrics to monitor cycle times, grief and escapes.

Quality Engineer (2007 - 2010)

. Developed and implemented a database to track and manage project

Problem Reports. The database provides a status report on the multiple

space station and space shuttle projects underway. The report is

updated daily, and details all open and resolved quality issues;

giving management a clear picture of each project's progress toward

completion.

. Team member on a Value Stream Mapping Project for the Software

Development Integration Lab. Major contributor in assisting the team

to develop a new approach that reduced process from 34 days to 16

. Conducted numerous onsite contractor audits. Assisted the USAF in

evaluation APREP designs, production readiness and manufacturing

reviews. Routinely presented audit findings to senior leadership at

Sverdup and the US Air Force.

. Part of the manufacturing support team for the prototype Sea Wolf,

submarine nuclear reactor. Assisted in the creation of actual

manufacturing drawings and procedures based on contract design

. Team member on the Producibility Team and helped create a miniature

scale model of a critical component of the submarine's reactor. The

model was used to determine manufacturing and quality parameter and

approaches.
