Electricity is said to be the main source for power supply for every technology. In this project
we are going to design an embedded system that has an important objective to save the electric power for
industries, hotels, etc.,
In this system we are said to be using a microcontroller which is connected with the WPAN
network, only authenticated person have the main node which is said to be having the RSSI (Received
Signal Strength Indication) system in it.
MIWI is interfaced in the PIC micro controller. This controller is kept near the lights in the
corridor. Another MIWI is kept in the people’s hand that are all entering in the corridor. So that if the
person enters the room the MIWI is use to check the RSSI between the persons hand and the light. If the
signal is high the lights gets switched ON automatically and if the signal strength is low it gets turned
OFF automatically.
So that the electric energy is less consumed and the switching devices may be neglected.
