Attention Hiring Manager,

My name is Rattan Bhamrah and I have obtained a Bachelor of Applied

Science, Honours in Mechanical Engineering from the University Of Waterloo.

I am highly interested in the job position available at your facility and

truly believe that I am sufficiently qualified to succeed in this job.

I have achieved consistent academic success throughout high school which

has continued throughout my years of university as well. I have worked on

many practical projects throughout my undergraduate studies and am looking

forward to applying what I have learned thus far. Through consistent hard

work and dedication I have attained proficiency in MS Office, especially

Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Project, AutoCAD, programming in

C++, and Adobe Photoshop. I would like to get an opportunity to further

refine my skills and attain expertise in these programs as well.

I have excellent communication skills gained by working with Mr. HiFi. I

worked there as a customer care and sales representative and was mainly

responsible for solving customer inquiries about desired products. I

played a crucial role in overseeing the Annual Traffic Count Program and in

administrating the Tender Process at the Corporation of the Town of

Markham. During my term at the City of Toronto, I further refined my

tendering skills by putting together, and then issuing out, tender

packages. I also developed in-depth knowledge of interpreting engineering

drawings, and also assisted senior engineers at pumping stations and water

mains. Through my hard work at Multimatic Dynamic Suspensions, I have

developed beneficial knowledge of quality control and how important quality

testing is for production. Process efficiency has been a major key area of

learning throughout my time at The Peelle Company by carrying out time

studies and seeing how to streamline certain processes. Working with

Magna, I have gained extensive knowledge on troubleshooting and future

prevention of various plant related issues through working with all

departments and also with suppliers in keeping good relations.

Moreover, I have demonstrated excellent group/team leadership skills by

organizing and participating in the South Asian Assemblies in all of my

years at Downsview Secondary School as well as in university. I also teach

classical music to persons, both younger and older than me, improving my

communications and social skills every step of the way.

In conclusion, I truly hope that you consider me for this position. I feel

that I would prove to be a valuable asset to your engineering team

considering my experience in working alongside external contacts such as

contractors, vendors, customers etc.; along with assisting senior managers

with carrying out/planning/scheduling various projects. I also feel that I

will be in a privileged position to refine these skills and also gain

valuable hands on experience. Thank you very much for your time and

consideration, and I hope to hear from you in the future.

Yours Sincerely,

Rattan Bhamrah
