Working as a Maintenance Engineer-Mechanical from last 2 year for

Operation and maintenance of UTILITIES & 5.6 MW Power plant running on

H.F.O. (Heavy Fuel Oil)

1 X 6R32LN Wartsila (2.0 MW) Genset

1 x 16V28/32S MAN (3.6 MW) Genset

Professional Experience:

While working, have to maintain the Periodic Service Schedules of

Genset (WARTSILA & MAN B&W),maintain intermediate & major service schedule

of Cooling tower, Water filtering & softening plant, Compressors (Ingersoll

Rand),Air Dryer (Atlas Capco FD100),Separators for Lubricating Oil & Fuel

(Alfa Laval PA610,SA826), and Head to avoid the Brake down situation.

Role and Responsibilities :

Working as a Maintenance Engineer-Mechanical, performing the activities in

CPP (Captive Power Plant):

> Complete charge of shift. Ensure max availability of Engine and

auxiliary equipments.

> To maintain machine breakdown percentage less.

> Track engine hours, maintain and monitor performance parameters.

> Carried all the scheduled maintenance activities, plan maintenance

schedule of GENSET, cooling towers, heat exchangers, pumps etc. Water

Treatment Plant like water softener, water filter, Air compressors,

Fans/Blowers, Alfa Laval oil separator unit.

> To monitor and control the over-all maintenance activities of the

department

> New modification New machines commissioning & Installation

> Co-ordination with Production Dept. to plan the daily Load

Distribution accordingly to fulfill the un-interrupted Power

requirement for production.

> Fuel & Lubricating Oil consumption report, Reports of Chemicals & Acid

consumption for Cooling Tower with Necessary record keeping.

Installation of Air Ventilation System for GENSET:

> The new ventilation system has been installed for 16 V 28 / 32 S - MAN

B & W 3.6MW GENSET at Alternator side.

> The ventilation (supply) air quantity is to be 1x18 m3/sec, depending

on the location of the GENSET.

> The purpose of providing this ventilation system is to ventilate the

Power plant indoor space, by using the principle of Ventilation. The

equipments are designed, and implemented to force supply the fresh and

filtered air.

> During the commencement of project also implemented the cost effective

technique.
