> Supervising and controlling different production activities

(drilling, blasting, mucking, loading, hauling, dumping, etc.) and

managing manpower to achieve safety, production, productivity, and

cost targets of Business plan.

> Monitoring blasting section and development face blasting to

optimize the blasting parameters (i.e. powder factors,

fragmentation, pull length, etc.).

> Generating and analyzing daily and monthly reports (equipment

performance, accident/incident reports, productivity data, cost

figures, etc.) and reporting the same to mines manager.

> Inspecting haulages, ladder ways, working locations and sites from

safety point of view (adequacy of ventilation and roof supports)

and maintaining records in "Manager diary" (statutory requirement

as per Directorate-General of Mines Safety).
