emergency situations. The department provides ems services for 100,000
residents and has 40 full time staff and 30 part time staff. And provide
public education for schools and businesses regarding first aid, CPR, and
the use of defibrillators. I am a member of the All Hazards Safety and
Response Team for the hospital. Responding to all fire, haz-mat, and
safety related incidents. The department on average responds to 12,000
ems calls in the calendar year. I also have experience job shadowing with
the director of risk management for the facilities.
