Description

The main purposes of this application is to reduce roaming data delivery

time from the VPMN to the HPMN from up to 36 hours to 4 hours (or less),

for fraud management purposes.

The system consists of two servers per a site, RFStage and RFStore.

Logically the Roaming Fraud system can be split into outbound and inbound

functionality.

Outbound process is to deliver NRTRDE files, generated from Vodafone raw

circuit switch data (ASN.1), to a Clearing House (Syniverse), who will, in

turn, deliver these files to Vodafone's roaming partners.

Inbound process is to receive roaming partner NRTRDE files from Syniverse,

audit their arrival, and process them to determine if there are potentially

fraudulent calls being made - generating one or two forms of alert (HUR and

RHA) if certain criteria are met.
