Accomplishments:
■ Managed development and implementation of proprietary QC Software in MS Access-later oversaw the
migration to SQL/Access backend/frontend setup along with enhancement of existing Production control
software, trained operators on new program as well as sampling methodology
■ Introduced and managed a network of PC’s on production floor to capture QC data which had been
previously written in logbooks
■ Initiated employee cross-training program to maximize productivity and minimize labor costs
■ Purchased surfaced grinder so as to facilitate machining of tooling dies so as to reuse for different
sizes, prior to that we would have outside machine shop make dies for each product size

■ Spearheaded new process of powder preparation on granulation equipment so as to utilize latest
cold pressing techniques

■ Streamlined Purchasing and Management of key raw materials and all MRO supplies, which included
implementation of strategic metals hedging program to stabilize costs of critical raw materials in volatile
market conditions. This resulted in significant cost savings during stated market conditions for example,
we locked in certain quantities of strategic metals at favorable prices during a period when raw costs
doubled
■ Managed firm’s largest customer >$2M/year, this involved working closely with product manager of customer
on new product testing and packaging design issues and maintaining inventory of all raw material for same
customer
■ Introduced in-house silk screening process for private label customers as well as DDM branded blades-
giving us more control and lowering costs by up 60%
■ Recommend, Plan and Execute plant capital improvement projects examples include Managing relocation,
expansion and layout of physical plant in time frame allocated and within budget ; many new equipment
purchases which included numerous trips to vendor locations both domestic and abroad
■ Implemented preventative maintenance program on all equipment
■ Rationalized sourcing of spare parts, company previously purchased parts through secondary sources.
I established relationships with OEM vendors and reduced cost on some items as much as 50%

flying technicians in from Germany and New Jersey
