. Maritime surveillance operator performed operations of fisheries
control, pollution surveillance, smuggling control, search and rescue
(SAR), medical evacuation (MEDEVAC) and transport. Have conducted

in war theatre. Have conducted more than 200 missions.
. Managed JTAC teams in QRF (Quick Response Force) and RRF (Reserve
Response Force) and its equipments and vehicles. Coordinated all
mission support logistics. Coordinated missions with other ISAF JTAC
teams.
. Coordinated and directed operations involving CAS (Close Air Support)
with ISAF aircrafts and with Portuguese ground forces and sometimes
with other ISAF forces.
. Planned, coordinated and control all aerial means in mission support,
since CAS until COMBATSAR (Search and rescue in combat).
. Served as Air Liaison Officer between JTAC teams, Portuguese
contingent and ISAF Headquarters.

Air crewmember / Winchman (helicopter hoist operator / systems operator)
. Alert crewmember (24/365), executed day and night operations of search
and rescue at land and sea, and rescue missions, support and transport
of victims in shipwrecks, mountain, accidents and catastrophes. In-
flight and in ground suspended load operations with helicopter in some
points of difficult access in Portugal. Tactical transport of staff,
material and suspended loads. About 1500 flight hours.
. Performed COMBATSAR training missions.
. Coordinated and performed with flight engineer, helicopter light
maintenance, serviceability and change aircraft configuration in
mission's accordance.
. Maintained accountability, serviceability, and security of all
supplies and equipment, and performed ground maintenance in flotation

pilots and rescue divers instruction.
