SUMMARY

I have been employed in the electronics industry all of my working life and have been a field

based engineer for most of it, I have a very good rapport with customers and management. I

have been a licensed radio amateur since 1972, and have built and aligned transmitter and

receiver projects over the years. .I am on the committee of the South Dorset Repeater Group

and have helped with the maintenance of our VHF and UHF RF Analogue repeaters. We have

had many problems with other RF sources at our repeater site causing problems with our

repeaters and I have assisted in solving these problems. I always ensure that any job I do is

done correctly, and take great pride in my work. I enjoy driving and cover a large area of the

South West for my present employers. I am on call 24/7 one week in three. I am good at DIY

and have rebuilt a kitchen and a bathroom.

WORK HISTORY

Systems Technician, Chubb Fire and Security.

1999-PRESENT

Repair and service of Nurse-Call and Control systems, South-West UK area. On 24 hour call

out rota one week in three. Repairing nurse call and warden call systems for privately owned

and local council owned properties. Systems are either hard-wired or Radio Frequency linked

to on-site wardens and offsite call centres via BT lines.

Repairing computer monitors in the workshop in Poole.
