Dear Potential Employer:
My name is Laurynda Northway and I am inquiring about the Reentry Coordinator position you have posted on Craigslist. I have also included a copy of my resume and references. I currently reside near Eugene, OR however I am moving back to the Des Moines area around or before May 20th and would love to secure a position before moving back.
I believe I would be a great candidate for this position because I have a lifetime of Ministry experience and a passion encouraging people who have life circumstances that have brought them down. I have volunteered at the Eugene Mission that houses over 500 homeless and the Dream Center that provides social service needs for the needy in our area. I also completed my Critical Incident Stress Management courses and will be certified soon.
In May of 2013 I graduated from New Hope Christian College with my Bachelors of Science. My major was Interdisciplinary Studies and most of my college career was focused on Early Childhood Education, Business Management and Ministry Leadership.
In everything that I do I strive for excellence and do my work to the best of my ability. I have a strong work ethic and I am determined to be a success at whatever I do.
I have owned my own business as a child care provider and a construction business for the last ten years both of which have been very successful and won awards. I am moving back to Iowa and I look forward to working for someone else again.
I believe my best qualities are that I am a people person – I just love people! I have a high regard for great customer service, a passion for helping people to realize their full potential, I am highly organized, self motivated, creative and I am a loyal hard worker always willing to go above and beyond to get the job done.
Thank you so much for your time and consideration.
Sincerely,
Laurynda S. Northway
