Sunbelt Industrial Corp, Regional Safety Manager (Midwest) Manage safety at 6 fossil fuel electric
generation facilities, plus 2 chemical plants. Varied direct reports ( site safety managers). Plan and
execute all safety training. Audit facilities for safety compliance. Investigate accidents, near misses,
and incidents. Root cause analysis, accident prevention, worker training, record management
including asbestos licensing, OSHA compliance and reporting. Sites include Duke Energy C.G.;
Georgia Power C.G. and Dupont Chemical plants. Implements and manages programs to reduce or
eliminate occupational injuries, illnesses, deaths, and financial losses. Development of accident-
prevention and loss-control systems and programs for incorporation into operational policies of
organization. Manage and coordinate safety activities to ensure implementation of safety activities
throughout company. Hire and manage site safety managers for all outages. Manage workman’s
